Create a Portfolio of the Programming Projects you accomplished

Intro

For all you programmers and web developers with a wordpress blog or site how would you like to create a portfolio of all the Programming Projects you accomplished?  Well in this tutorial I’m going to show you how to create that portfolio and then add a project to that portfolio.

Tutorial Requirements

All you need for this tutorial is

• a wordpress site with the WP-GeSHi-Highlight and Jetpack plugins installed

Instructions

For this tutorial to work you need to

1. login to your wordpress dashboard.


2. select the  section of the settings menu.


3. Check .


4. click .


5. You should see , and when hovering over that image .


6. Select all projects.  Here’s an example of some projects I added to my portfolio:


7. click .


8. switch to the  view so you can see what code you want to show off.


9. Enter a title here: .


10. Type  and .


11. Copy and Paste any code you want into your project.  I chose .


12. Click .


13. Edit the project to your liking.


14. If you’re satisfied with it click .


15. click  to view your project.

Conclusion

There you have it.  A portfolio with all the programming projects that have been accomplished.

Reason why I deleted the orginal grooveshark tutorials and why I won't bring them back in the future

I have some unpleasant news for all you fans of the original grooveshark.  Earlier probably this month or last I was looking through my social email I get from gmail and one of the emails I get from lifehacker says something to the effect of “Grooveshark shuts it’s doors” then I go to the announcement for a reason why the original grooveshark closed it’s doors and get this they were not cleared to use any music from the respective copyright owners.  Which is probably why I won’t bring back grooveshark tutorials unless grooveshark really plays by the copyright rules before getting sued again.

Embed Youtube videos in your wordpress blog using the old method

When embeding youtube videos the old fashioned way it could be tedious but worthit.  If your patient enough you can embed as many youtube videos as you want on your blog.

Adding a station to itunes radio based on artist

Introduction

Have you ever wanted to listen to your favorite christian, LDS, or secular artists on itunes radio?  In this tutorial I'll show you how to add a station to itunes radio based on artist.

Requirments

1. an itunes account


2. itunes itself

Instructions

1. login to your iTunes account if you have one.


2. click on the to see what stations you can add or listen to.


3. click on the next to the My Stations heading.  you should see .


4. enter the name the artist you want to add a station for.  You should see a list of songs and artists you can choose from.


5. If you typed in the name of a christian metal artist and chose  Then  should appear under the my stations heading and start playing.

Conclusion

There you have it a simple way to add a station to itunes radio based on artist.  whether you're into christian metal LDS JPOP whatever you can add stations based on any artist you want.
